Dr  Ben  Whittaker

Ben graduated from Leeds in 2000 with a first class MChem degree.  Ben was awarded a studentship in the inaugural year of Leeds'  Wellcome Trust 4-year PhD scheme.  Ben was jointly supervised by Professor Peter Stockley; he prepared stereochemically diverse libraries of ligands for probing the function of RNAs.  Ben moved to take up a postdoctoral position in Dr Chris Hayes' laboratory at the University of Nottingham.  Ben subsequently moved to a position with Biofocus.
