Amanda  Bolt

Mandy Bolt graduated from the University of Leeds in 2004 with a first class MChem(Ind) degree, encompassing an industrial placement at Celltech R&D, Cambridge, and a final project working on the synthesis of a library of bis(indolyl)maleimides in Professor Nelson's group.

Mandy was a PhD student on the Astbury Centre's 4-year PhD programme that is funded by the Wellcome Trust.  Mandy's project involved collaboration with Professor Alan Berry, and focused on the directed evolution and mechanistic studies of an aldolase enzyme.
