Alexandre  Trindade



Alexandre F. Trindade obtained his PhD in Chemistry in 2010 under the supervision of Professor Carlos Alfonso at the University of Lisbon. In 2011 he became a post-doc at the Faculty of Pharmacy working with Professors Carlos Alfonso and Gaspar Martinho, and since 2014, also at ETH Zurich, working with Professor Jeffrey Bode. From 2013 until 2017, he held an invited assistant professor position at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Lisbon.

Alexandre's current research focuses on developing new synthetic methods for the late stage functionalisation of inactivated C-H bonds in fragments. He has recently secured a Marie Curie Fellowship to support his research.
