Dr  Claire  Windle

Claire obtained a degree in Medicinal Biochemistry from the University of Leeds in 2011. She went on to undertake a BBSRC funded PhD, jointly supervised by Professor Alan Berry and Professor Adam Nelson. Her project involved using chemical modification to alter enzyme substrate specificity. Claire then moved into a postdoctoral position at Leeds which exploited non-canonical amino acids in protein engineering. After leaving Leeds, she accepted a position in patent law.
