Jenny Stockwell graduated with a MChem in Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Warwick in 2009. Her Masters project was carried out under the supervision of Prof. G. L. Challis. The focus of project was the production of analogues of Streptorubin B through feeding of synthetic analogues of 2-undecylpyrrole to mutated Streptomyces coelicolor.

Jenny was supported by BBSRC and AstraZeneca. Her project was concerned with using engineered aldolase enzymes for stereoselective synthesis of fluorinated biologically active molecules. The work was being carried out in collaboration with the Prof. Alan Berry group within the Astbury Centre for Structural Molecular Biology.

Jenny moved to a position with Sygnature after leaving the group.
